Maurizio Marmorato

Maurizio Marmorato

Maurizio trained and qualified in 2008 as a Traditional Hatha Yoga Instructor at the 'Amrita School of Yoga' in London under the expertise and eclectic guidance of Nigel Gilderson and Chris Gladwell. In 2012 he also completed the 500 Hours Teacher Training with Quantum Yoga Lara Baumann. Openly attracted to new forms of movement, Maurizio is instinctively drawn to more dynamic, vigorous, yang type of styles, i.e., Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Anusara. However, in order to find and maintain that inner sense of balance, he does enjoy the challenge of exploring more gentle, introspective, ying types and other forms of practice.

Helena MarkovicHelena Markovic

Helena was introduced to yoga on an Australian beach in 2000, and has been in love ever since. Her 13 years of practice, combined with a background in dance and movement, led her to discover a range of yoga styles which have helped shape her Hatha Flow teaching.
Helena has studied with Gingi Lee, Stewart Gilchrist and Nigel Gilderson and completed her training as a Yoga Teacher with the Amrita School of Yoga, in London. She is also qualified as a pregnancy yoga teacher. Helena encourages a subtle balance between effort and relaxation, always paying attention to the needs of the individual as well as the group. Her aim is to create a welcoming and enjoyable space for people to feel inspired, challenged, uplifted and nurtured.

Louise first came across yoga as a student over 20 years ago and has been practising ever since. Inspired by a monk who taught her the basics of Hatha Yoga on a beach in South Goa, her story has taken her through phases of Iyengar, Asthanga, Sivananada, Bikram, Vinyassa Flow and finally to Hatha Flow. In 1998 she came across Nigel Gilderson at Brockwell Lido and attended his classes regularly over the following decade.  In 2009 she completed the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training course with the Amrita School of Yoga & in 2012 she attended Shiva Rea's 'Mandala Of Asanas:  Essential Tools For Teaching Flow' course, elements of which she incorporates into her classes.  She currently teaches Hatha Flow to groups at Brixton’s Yoga Point, Brockwell Park Lido & Dulwich Leisure Centre and to individuals in their homes in and around Herne Hill where she lives with her family.  She is First Aid Trained, CRB checked and insured to teach yoga to adults & children.
